Addicts Victorious'

Testimony of the Month

I started drinking when I was 13 years old. I got a job in the south at 16 years old running a small dairy farm. The pay was $70.00 a week plus all the free beer and homemade moonshine I could drink. By the time I was 18 years old I was an alcoholic. I joined the Army and could out drink any man in the battalion. Through the years my alcoholism progressed. I am now 43 years old.

Finally things got so bad in my life, I reached out for help. My pastor told me about Addicts Victorious. I just wasn't ready to give up my alcohol yet. I had to lose everything before I would let JESUS Christ deliver me. I lost my wife, my farm, and a great job due to alcohol. I am now staying in a dumpy motel. I was at my end. I knew that something had to change. Then I turned to the Addicts Victorious 5-Day Biblical Counseling Program. The one thing that I remember most that got my attention during the 5-Day Program was when Rev. Jenkins said GOD is telling me “last call!!!” The knowledge that I received there saved my life. I asked JESUS to come into my life. Not only did he come into my life but I also received total deliverance from my alcoholism. I have given all my worries to GOD and I am now in total peace about my future. I know with JESUS my windshield is bigger than my rearview mirror. I give all praise and glory to GOD and I am so very grateful to him for picking me up off of the highway to hell. I also want to thank all who support the Addicts Victorious 5-Day Biblical Counseling Program. Without God and your help I would still be on the highway to hell.
