Jude
23
23
And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating
even the garment spotted by the flesh. Jude 23 KJV
23
Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment. There
are still others to whom you need to show mercy, but be careful
that you aren't contaminated by their sins.
NLT
Notice
two very important words out of these two translations of this verse.
“Save and Rescue”. Applying these to action verbs from
the Biblical aspects means immediate, fast, continuous action. This
is not a wishy washy meaning, but a command that means NOW! Sin
in anyone's life is extremely serious. This verse places a responsibility
upon us to do whatever can be done using a tough-love, if you will,
to bring this person or even “pulling them out of the fire”. This
also speaks a warning to us not to be “contaminated by their
sins” NLT.
“
hating even the garment spotted (soiled) by the flesh” or
the fleshy item that will deceive us if we are not prayed up. I
find people crossing my path everyday who are headed in the wrong
direction spiritually. The other concern here for us is not to get
judgmental but remaining in an attitude like Jesus and showing His
Compassion to them.
I
pray that you be touched by His Compassion today and keep a close
guard on yourself when those spiritual battles for you and others
come your way!
