HOW THE WORD OF GOD WILL ILLUMINATE OUR MINDS TO SEE HOW THE DEVIL OPERATES

Lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.

2 Corinthians 2:11

   The Bible warns us that the devil is like a roaring lion who roams about, seeking whom he can destroy (1Peter 5:8). We may not like it but the devil is real and he tries to find ways to destroy us and / or set us back. He is the greatest identity thief in the world. He tries to steal your identity telling you that you are not a child of God, bought with the Precious Blood of Christ. Satan wants desperately to control you and he will use any type of ungodly controlling device he can get his hands on to destroy us. He wants us only because we are the God's creation and he wants to outwit us, trick us, dominated us and ultimately destroy us. St. Paul said that we should not be ignorant of his devices .

   As we get to know the Father and Who He is, and Jesus and Who He is, and the Holy Spirit and Who He is, we will discover who the liar, thief and destroyer is, whose name is satan.

When we know Jesus and His Word, which is alive, then the devil will not be able to pull the wool over our eyes. So, If you are aware of areas in your personal life where you are falling prey to the devil, LOOK TO JESUS. Matthew 6:33 speaks to us this way: “ Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.” The Holy Spirit is our Teacher and He will show us how to recognize the onset of the devils attacks. Allow your mind to be illuminated through the Word of God to see how the devil operates his evil plots. Then with the power of God the devil and his plans will be aborted.
