THE
FRUIT NEVER LIES
20
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know
them.
Matthew
7:20
Jesus
was teaching here about the fruit that is borne by a person's life.
This fruit might include a person's deeds, actions, moral character,
and behavior or the output of the person's work. What Jesus was
ultimately telling us was to watch the by products of what proceeds
out of a persons mouth, which come from the mind and the heart.
This is what reveals what is inside a person. We can make quite
a discovery about people if we will take the time to carefully observe
their lives! If you want to know what is inside a person, just observe
his attitudes and how he relates to other people. His fruit will
tell you the truth about who he really is. Good fruit belongs to
good trees, and bad fruit belongs to bad trees. It's that simple.
The fruit never lies.
A
tree that looks good and stout and strong and be very impressive
looking may produce deadly fruit. One of the things to consider
also is that maybe the fruit is not ready for picking yet. Timing
is very important when it comes to harvesting good fruit. It's all
about timing. I've seen people go out and minister for the Lord
and really they are not ready yet! If the fruit is picked before
it is ready it can leave a bitter taste.
Waiting
upon the Lord is so important in our walk with the Lord. Isaiah
40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their
strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run,
and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Maybe
your fruit needs to be refreshed, or renewed! WAIT UPON THE LORD.
He does the correct ripening. Allow the Word of God to minister
His fruit to you. Galatians 5:22-23 But
the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering,
gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such
there is no law.
You're
the temple of God; fill yourself with the correct fruit. They never
go bad!
