“My Mom and Dad were divorced when I was about 5 years old and I moved in with my uncle. I started drinking when I was fifteen. At seventeen I got a DUI. Until I was eighteen years old I was still paying my fines. I met a beautiful girl when I was eighteen and we soon married.

In approximately 2001, I thought I had turned my life over to Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior however now I realized that I truly hadn't. From that time on I had sporadic church attendance. Finally I decided to start studying the Scriptures at home. I began Bible Studies in my home with neighbors and teens to get closer to God. Looking back today my pride got in the way. I'm now 34 and still married with a beautiful wife and three wonderful children, however in my Bible Study there was a seventeen year old young lady which also became a very good friend. Then I fell in the trap of one of the three most deadly sins that is found in 1 John 2:16 where it says ‘For all that is in the world the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye and the pride of life is not of the Father but is of the world.' Because of this I not only to commited adultery but I was arrested and charged with a crime.

At this point I reached out for help. I found out about the 5-Day Biblical Counseling Program which I attended. Although I had completley turned my life over to the Lord while in jail, the 5-Day Program strenghtened my relationship with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
