Testimony of the Month

age 15 I began using alcohol to fit in with my friends and slowly
but surely, I began drinking everyday and became addicted to alcohol.
At age 16 I had my first child and I have been a single parent all
of my life. It was also at age 16 that I began using marijuana and
continued to use it throughout my life. At 35 years of age I switched
from using marijuana and began to use crack cocaine and I was immediately
addicted. My life was consumed with smoking crack. At 41 years of
age I got arrested because of my addiction and after spending 32 days
in jail I new I needed help. That's when I discovered the power of
Jesus Christ through Addicts Victorious 5-Day Biblical Counseling
Program. Because of my addiction my life had become totally helpless.
I struggled with anger, fear, and depression, however; on my first
day of the 5-Day Program at Addicts Victorious I learned that Jesus
loves me no matter how much of a mess my life was. On that first day
I received Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and during the 5-Day
Biblical Counseling Program by the power of Jesus Christ and through
the Word of God I was delivered of my addiction. I know have an unspeakable
peace and joy and am hungry for more of God. I would like to thank
the people who faithfully pray and give of their finances to the Addicts
Victorious Biblical Counseling Program so that I could finally find
hope and a personal relationship with my loving Father through His
son Jesus Christ.
