I started using marijuana and methamphetamines when I was 13 years old. My Dad died in 1996 when I was only 22. That is when I started using drugs heavily -- everyday. I began injecting ‘meth.’ Since that time I have been in and out of jails and institutions. I have been through 6 treatment centers.
Then, my Mom told me about Addicts Victorious, so I decided to attend their 5-Day Biblical Counseling Program. On the Thursday (the fourth day) of this program, during the specific session on curses, I actually, physically felt something leave my body. It was like the chains of addiction had been broken. I have never felt anything like that before.
I have been struggling to stay free from ‘meth’ for at least 5 years now, and never have I felt this peace about me. Because of Addicts Victorious and the presence of Jesus Christ in these programs, I feel that I finally have been given the fighting chance that I deserve! I want to thank everyone that prays for and supports this ministry. The Addicts Victorious 5-Day Biblical Counseling Program has helped me find freedom! I am excited about my new life and looking forward to a much brighter future! |
