“I am an only child of my parents. Growing up, I was a very shy and lonely. I found it hard to make friends due to my shyness and this made me vulnerable to the enemy socially and emotionally. At age 25 I found myself in an affair with my cousin's husband. This caused major problems emotionally and personally. I began to spiral in and out of depression, using alcohol as a self-medication form of escape. This became my best friend because I would drink over and over again to keep escaping the isolation and loneliness.

     I moved back to my home town at the age of 26, and due to the depression, guilt, shame and jealousy, my alcoholism continued. I was jealous of my cousin and her husband because he felt I didn't measure up. The sad part is, I called myself a Christian, but I was not behaving like one. I found myself working back at a local pharmacy, but due to my alcoholism it wasn't long until I was out of a job, and have never been able to find a job since due to my dependence on alcohol.

    Due to my severe depression, my doctor suggested the 5-Day Biblical Counseling Program. The very first day I felt a God-like peace from God that I had not ever experienced. It gave me the will and desire to keep seeking God and a whole new direction for my life. Through the 5-Day Program I was delivered and totally set free from the slavery that I had been in my entire life. And now I'm truly a new creation in Christ. This is going to be the merriest Christmas I've ever experienced due to the gift of freedom I received through Jesus Christ. I personally want to thank all those involved who support this ministry which is truly a life-changing and life-saving experience."
