Proverbs
3:5-6 states: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean
not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him
and he shall direct thy paths.”
Then
Ephesians 6:10 tells us: “ Finally, my brethren, be strong in
the Lord, and in the power of his might.”
These
are two very powerful Scriptures instructing us and giving us knowledge
about where our strength will come from. We are to Trust God's strength
and ability and not our own. Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him
in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth
in thee. If our mind is on the things of the Lord
and we get that into our spirits and not other things, He will help
us through whatever warfare the devil may want to throw at us.
Dr.
Jeanna Moschenrose has developed Seven Steps to Remember that
I want to share with you and hopefully you will put into practice
in your life's journey.
- Trust God's
Strength and Ability
- Feed and
develop your faith through God's Word every day
- Renew you
mind by reprogramming your thoughts through the Word of God.
- Get a new
self image according to God's Word. (You are important)
- Guard your
heart. Flee temptation
- When tempted,
yield yourself to God and resist the devil
- Set Goals.
Establish a schedule, use your time productively, give and help
others.
Keeping
up our guard against the devils deceitful ways is a daily effort.
Don't try to do it on your own . Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my
brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
