At 13 years old while being raised in a very dysfunctional family I started using marijuana and alcohol. I was raised by my stepmother who was very abusive person and beat me several times. Due to my drug and alcohol use at the age of 15, my biological mother kicked me out of the house and said that I couldn't live there any longer. At the age of 16 I started using Crank, and this led to Acid, Rush, Mushrooms and other hallucinogens. Things were falling apart with my roommate so my father let me live at home. However I was still using drugs and alcohol when my father wasn't looking. At age 19, I hooked up with the man that is now my husband and we married when I was 21 years old. My husband I both continued our alcohol and other drug use. Later that year I was sober for nine months while I carried my first child. Shortly after my daughter was born I resumed drinking with my husband and at that point I tried cocaine, which I used heavily for a couple of years and then I decided to go straight. However due to our past alcohol and drug abuse we could not get along: we used and abused each other. Three children later I resumed my drug addiction, got hooked on crack and eventually went to meth. I became a serious meth addict until I was finally arrested.
