I was raised in a Christian home, and at 10 years old, I started drinking because my parents would have card parties and I would be cleaning up and start to taste the left over drinks. I had a very good friend that lived down the street from me, and I would go to her house and instead of playing dolls, we would play “bar”. In my teens, I started running around with my friends and there was always some way to get alcohol from someone. It was always available. I got married at 24 years old, after we had lived together for two years, and at 26 I had my first and only child. My husband and I continued drinking throughout our marriage. At the age of 40, I was divorced. Now, six years later, I found myself as a serious alcoholic with anxiety, worry, fear, and depression. At my lowest point, I reached out for help. My doctor told me about a local church that had group sessions, however, they referred me to the Addicts Victorious 5-Day Biblical Counseling Program . I have just completed the 5-Day Biblical Counseling Program and must admit it is definitely a life changing experience. For the first time in my life I've totally surrendered to Jesus Christ and now I'm saved, delivered and healed. At this point, I want to thank everyone who prayed for me, and those who helped make this program possible.
