When I was 15 I started drinking alcohol.  I have experimented with marijuana, cocaine and speed, but alcohol was always my drug of choice.  In this lifestyle, I continued to drink through the destruction of 2 marriages, loneliness, and living a purposeless existence. 

At the age of 46, while drinking, I had a horrific automobile accident.  This accident led me to total my truck, be arrested, and get charged with a DWI (driving while intoxicated).  This was a real wakeup call. 

When I contacted my lawyer, he told me that I definitely needed to get help and suggested that I go through the Addicts Victorious 5-Day Biblical Counseling Program.  I had my doubts because I had tried several other programs and counseling and none of those had helped. 

However, when I arrived at Addicts Victorious I found a completely different atmosphere.  The people were not judgmental or condemning but showed genuine compassion for me and my situation.  The second day of the Program I was totally repentant of my actions and received the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ my Lord.  From this moment on, this program was truly a life-changing experience. 

I have found that I now have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ my Savior and He loves me in spite of myself!  I am looking forward to the new life that I now have in Him!  This Christmas I will truly understand its real meaning, because I have been given the greatest gift that I will ever receive in my lifetime!  I want to thank all of you who pray and support this Ministry!  It is what has made my fight possible.  Merry Christmas!
