A Letter From The Executive Director

By Rev. Jerald F. Jenkins

We greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. John 3:16 the most memorized verse in the Bible “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” He is the greatest Christmas gift ever given to mankind. This is the good news we've been sharing in our support group programs throughout the world and in our 5-Day Biblical Counseling Program here in Quincy, Illinois. The following testimony is from an individual who received that Christmas gift early this year:

“My mother and father were divorced when I was two years old. From eight years old on I was raised by my mother and step-father. I started smoking pot when I was eleven years old. At the age of sixteen I moved in with my grandparents where there were absolutely no rules or regulations. My drug use escalated from marijuana to alcohol and cocaine. This drug abuse continued when I married at age twenty-five. After I married, due to my addictions, I was very unfaithful to my wife, having affair after affair. Currently at thirty-one years old, I was about to lose my marriage and three children due to my alcohol, drug and sexual addiction when my parents suggested that I attend the Addicts Victorious 5-Day Biblical Counseling Program in Quincy. I recently graduated from the program. This period is the first time in my life that I have found total victory through my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I can now understand why Jesus is truly the reason for the season. This is the greatest Christmas present I have ever received in my thirty-one years. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your prayers and financial support for this ministry and for helping me receive the greatest gift of my life.”

From all of us at Addicts Victorious and all the lives that have been changed through Jesus Christ we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed and Prosperous New Year, and thank you again for your support and prayers.

In His Service,

Rev. Jerald F. Jenkins
